The Truffle Restaurants and Leonardo’s vineyard

The Roero and Grinzane Cavour Regional Enotecas show their affinity and long-established tradition of cooperation by paying tribute to the “truffle restaurants” in the period of transition between the “ALBA WHITE TRUFLE” and the “BLACK PÉRIGORD TRUFFLE”.

The invitation reflects the opportunities for the food and wine treasures of our hills represented by the recent awarding of UNESCO heritage status to the vineyard landscapes of the Langa-Roero and Monferrato, and by the EXPO in Milan.

It starts with a “thriller” though: a plot revolving around the EXPO, the disappearance of the distinguished Prof. Attilio Scienza and the mysterious vineyard owned by Leonardo da Vinci in Milan. Discussing the book will be its Langa vigneron author Giovanni Negri, Prof. Attilio Scienza and Paolo Massobrio, in his capacity as EXPO consultant.

The denouement is reassuring, with an aperitif accompanied by the wines of the Roero, and a presentation dinner prepared by chef Marc Lanteri following the arrival of his star-studded cuisine at Grinzane Cavour Castle.
