It is organised by <strong>Enoteca Regionale Piemontese Cavour (Piedmont Regional Wine Shop)<\/strong>, with the precious support offered by<strong> Regione Piemonte (Piedmont Region)<\/strong>, by <strong>Enit \u2013 Agenzia Nazionale Italiana del Turismo (Italian National Agency for Tourism)<\/strong>, by <strong>Ente Turismo Langhe Monferrato Roero (Langhe Monferrato Roero Tourism Board)<\/strong>, by <strong>Fiera Internazionale del Tartufo Bianco d\u2019Alba (International Alba White Truffle Fair), by Centro Nazionale Studi Tartufo (National Truffle Study Centre) <\/strong>and by <strong>Ordine dei Cavalieri del Tartufo e dei Vini di Alba (Order of Knights of the Truffle and Wines of Alba).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As usual the international locations in connection with the Castle of Grinzane dispute extraordinary lots of the<strong> Alba White Truffle<\/strong> in combination with large format wines of producers belonging to <strong>Consorzio di Tutela Barolo Barbaresco Alba Langhe e Dogliani (Consorzio for the Defense of Typical Wines of Pregio Barolo and Barbaresco).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Over <strong>5 million 700 thousand euros<\/strong>, raised since 1999 and donated to solidarity organisations and projects in Italy and in the World, are the result of the many genereous philanthropists who have been actively involved in the charity project over the years.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>LIVE CONNECTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The longstanding connection with the metropolis of <strong>Hong Kong<\/strong> has been confirmed, thanks to the precious collaboration of <strong>Chef Umberto Bombana<\/strong> \u2013 Three Michelin Stars \u2013 and of Maria Pranzo of Aret\u00e9 food and wine, in order to raise funds for <strong>Mother\u2019s Choice<\/strong> Institute, a nonprofit organisation supporting orphans in order to give them hope and new life chances with the funds raised.<\/p>\n<p>For the fourth consecutive year, Art restaurant of star chef <strong>Beppe De Vito<\/strong>, one of the most renowned names in food and wine excellence and owner of 5 restaurants in <strong>Singapore<\/strong>, will be in live connection from the prestigious National Gallery as the protagonist of the event. The restaurant will allocate the proceeds to <strong>Dreams Asia<\/strong>, an institution operating in education giving children equal opportunities to live their dreams and organising after-school projects and supporting their holistic development.<\/p>\n<p>A new feature this year will be the connection with the city of <strong>Vienna<\/strong>, which will become the protagonist of the charity event, as organised by the Austrian delegation of<strong> Ordine dei Cavalieri del Tartufo e dei Vini di Alba<\/strong> collaborating with <strong>Enit Vienna<\/strong>. The event will be preceded by a <strong>press conference<\/strong> on Thursday 10th November held at the historic Metternich Palace, thanks to the precious collaboration of the Italian Embassy in the Republic of Austria.<\/p>\n<p>A second new feature will be the connection with <strong>Qatar<\/strong>, with restaurant <strong>\u201cAlba by Enrico Crippa\u201d<\/strong>, opening soon in <strong>Doha<\/strong>, inside Katara Towers, where the three-star chef <strong>Enrico Crippa<\/strong> will bring from Alba his idea of an original, elegant and colourful cuisine, very loyal to local traditions and representing all Italian flavours.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00abThe Alba White Truffle World Auction \u2013 <\/em>explains <strong>Roberto Bodrito, President of the Enoteca Regionale Piemontese Cavour<\/strong> <em>\u2013 remains an exceptionally long-lasting and fascinating event, which is crucial for the local promotion.
