For individuals or groups of up to 14 people, there is no need to book.
The ticket can be purchased directly at the ticket office or online through TripAdvisor.
For groups of 15 people or more and for schools, however, booking is compulsory.
Reservations are also required for guided tours (both for groups and individuals).
Reservations are strongly recommended in Covid Emergency situations.
The Museum is open from Monday to Sunday (closed on Tuesdays) from 10 am to 6 pm.
The ticket office closes at 5 pm.
The Enoteca Regionale Piemontese Cavour has the same opening hours as the Museum, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (closed on Tuesdays).
From 1st April to 31 October the opening hours will be from 10.00 to 7.00, last admission at 6.00
The Enoteca Regionale will follow the same schedule.
8,00 € full price ticket, 6,00 € reduced for over 65 – students and groups; 4,00 € reduced for school groups; 3,00 € for children from 6 to 14 years.
Guided tours cost €50 in Italian and €60 in foreign languages and can be booked by sending an email to info@castellogrinzane.com.
Yes, it is possible to hire audio guides for an extra €3 on the ticket price.
Audio guides are available in IT, FR, EN, DE.
Yes, dogs are allowed inside the museum and in the Enoteca, as long as they are well-behaved and on a leash.
Inside the Castle there is the Restaurant “Alessandro Mecca Al Castello”, as well as a cafeteria bar with bistro service for lunch. At the foot of the Castle, on Via XV Novembre, there is a trattoria and a wine shop.
A tour of the museum lasts approximately 40/45 minutes.
Yes, it is possible to take photos and make films. We would appreciate your sharing them on our social channels!
Yes, about 500 metres from the Castle, along Via Bricco, you will find a car park where you can park your camper van.
Cars are not allowed to reach the Castle forecourt. You can park at the foot of the Castle and at the car parks along Via Bricco.
Yes, holders of the Abbonamento Musei Piemonte card have free access.
Wheelchair users have access via a mobile ramp to the ground floor of the Castle, where the Regional Enoteca is located, and to the Territory Room, the first room of the museum itinerary.
The In Vigna Museum is accessible to people with motor disabilities.
With your entrance ticket you can visit the Castle of Grinzane Cavour, in all the internal rooms used as Langhe Museum.
The Enoteca Regionale Piemontese Cavour (Regional Wine Shop), the inner courtyard of the Castle with its cafeteria and restaurant, the Castle gardens and the new Museo In Vigna can be visited free of charge.
