On Sunday, 8 November, the XXVII edition of the Alba White Truffle World Auction will take place, an event that will once again feature the Castle of Grinzane Cavour, a UNESCO World Heritage designated site.

This year too, the finest lots of Tuber magnatum Pico will be auctioned — paired with large formats of Barolo DOCG, Barbaresco DOCG, and Asti DOCG, in collaboration with the Consorzio di Tutela Barolo Barbaresco Alba Langhe e Dogliani and the Consorzio per la Tutela dell’Asti — during the event organized by the Enoteca Regionale Piemontese Cavour, thanks to the valuable support of the Piedmont Region, ENIT – the Italian National Tourist Board, Ente Turismo Langhe Monferrato Roero, the International Alba White Truffle Fair, the National Center for Truffle Studies, and the Order of the Knights of the Truffle and Wines of Alba.

For more than a quarter of a century, the Auction has represented far more than a gastronomic event: it is an ideal bridge between cultures, continents, and communities united by solidarity. Philanthropists, entrepreneurs, gourmet enthusiasts, and prominent figures from the worlds of institutions, culture, entertainment, and sports will once again contribute to supporting important charitable projects in Italy and abroad.

From 1999 to today, thanks to the generosity of participants and international partners, more than 7 million 700 thousand euros have been raised and allocated to charitable initiatives and social projects, confirming the World Auction as one of the most significant philanthropic events in the international gastronomic landscape.

Alongside the historic international venues that have contributed over the years to enhancing the prestige of the initiative — Hong Kong, Bangkok, Vienna — the XXVII edition will feature new and prestigious live connections with Macao, Vilnius, and Brasília, three cities symbolizing diverse cultures yet united by a growing appreciation for Italian excellence, signature gastronomy, and solidarity.
